Hadith 2330 — Livre 22: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصيام
Rapporté par 'Aishah, la mère des croyants : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ est venu un jour et a dit : « As-tu quelque chose à manger ? » J'ai répondu : « Non. » Il est revenu une autre fois et j'ai dit : « Ô Messager d'Allah, on nous a donné un peu de hais. » Il a dit : « Alors, aujourd'hui je vais rompre mon jeûne, même si j'avais commencé la journée en jeûnant. »

أَخْبَرَنِي صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، قَالَتْ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمًا فَقَالَ " هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ مِنْ طَعَامٍ " . قُلْتُ لاَ . قَالَ " إِذًا أَصُومَ " . قَالَتْ وَدَخَلَ عَلَىَّ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ أُهْدِيَ لَنَا حَيْسٌ . فَقَالَ " إِذًا أُفْطِرَ الْيَوْمَ وَقَدْ فَرَضْتُ الصَّوْمَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Aishah the mother of the Believers, said:"The Messenger of Allah came one day and said: 'Do you have any food?' I said: 'No.' He came in to me on another occasion, and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we have been given some Hais.' He said: "Then I will break my fast today, although I had started my day fasting

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہہا کہتی ہیں کہ ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آئے اور پوچھا: ”کیا تمہارے پاس کچھ کھانا ہے؟“ میں نے عرض کیا: نہیں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”پھر تو میں روزہ رکھ لیتا ہوں“، پھر دوسری بار آپ میرے پاس تشریف لے آئے تو میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہمارے پاس حیس کا ہدیہ آیا ہوا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تب تو میں آج روزہ توڑ دوں گا حالانکہ میں نے روزہ کی نیت کر لی تھی“۔
