Hadith 2138 — Livre 22: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصيام
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah a dit : « Le mois peut avoir vingt-neuf ou trente jours. Quand vous voyez le croissant, arrêtez le jeûne, et s’il est caché (par les nuages), alors complétez le compte. »

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، - هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الشَّهْرُ يَكُونُ تِسْعَةً وَعِشْرِينَ وَيَكُونُ ثَلاَثِينَ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَصُومُوا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَأَفْطِرُوا فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: The month may be twenty-nine days or it may be thirty. When you see it, then stop fasting, and it is obscured from you (too cloudy), then complete the count
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مہینہ ( کبھی ) انتیس دن کا ہوتا ہے، اور ( کبھی ) تیس دن کا، اور جب تم ( چاند ) دیکھ لو تو روزہ رکھو اور جب اسے دیکھ لو تو روزہ رکھنا بند کرو، ( اور ) اگر تم پر بادل چھا جائیں تو ( تیس کی ) گنتی پوری کرو“۔
