Rapporté par Abdur-Rahman bin Abdul-Qari : ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab a dit : "Celui qui manque sa part de la nuit et la récite entre le moment où le soleil passe au zénith et la prière du Dhuhr, alors il ne l’a pas manquée, ou c’est comme s’il l’avait rattrapée

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْقَارِيِّ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ مَنْ فَاتَهُ حِزْبُهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَرَأَهُ حِينَ تَزُولُ الشَّمْسُ إِلَى صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَفُتْهُ أَوْ كَأَنَّهُ أَدْرَكَهُ . رَوَاهُ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ مَوْقُوفًا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abdur-Rahman bin Abdul-Qari that Umar bin Al-Khattab said:"Whoever misses his nightly portion and recites it from the time when the sun passes its zenith until Zuhr prayer, then he did not miss it, or it is as if he caught up with it
Traduction en ourdou
عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں جس کا رات کا وظیفہ چھوٹ جائے، اور وہ سورج ڈھلنے سے لے کر نماز ظہر تک کسی بھی وقت اسے پڑھ لے، تو اس کا وظیفہ نہیں چھوٹا، یا گویا اس نے اپنا وظیفہ پا لیا۔ اسے حمید بن عبدالرحمٰن نے موقوفاً ( یعنی: مقطوعا ) روایت کیا ہے۔
