كتاب قيام الليل والنوافل
Rapporté par Al-Hasan bin Ali : "Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) m'a appris ces paroles à dire dans la prière du witr. Il a dit : Dis : 'Allahumma ihdini fiman hadayta wa 'afini fiman afayta wa tawallani fiman tawallayta wa barik li fima a'tayta, wa qini sharra ma qadayta, fa innaka taqdi wa la yuqda 'alayk, wa innahu la yadhillu man walayta, tabarakta Rabbana wa ta'alayt. Wa salla Allahu 'ala an-Nabi Muhammad.' (Ô Allah, guide-moi parmi ceux que Tu as guidés, accorde-moi la santé parmi ceux à qui Tu l'as accordée, protège-moi parmi ceux que Tu as protégés, bénis-moi dans ce que Tu m'as donné, et préserve-moi du mal de ce que Tu as décrété. Car c'est Toi qui décrètes et nul ne peut Te contraindre ; et celui que Tu protèges n'est jamais humilié. Tu es béni, notre Seigneur, et Tu es élevé. Et qu'Allah prie sur le Prophète Muhammad)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ عَلَّمَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم هَؤُلاَءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ فِي الْوَتْرِ قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ وَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Al-Hasan bin Ali said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught me these words in witr. He said: Say: Allahumma ihdini fiman hadayta wa 'afini fiman afayta wa tawallani fiman tawallayta wa barik li fima a'tayta, wa qini sharra ma qadayta, fa innaka taqdi wa la yuqda 'alayk, wa innahu la yadhilluman walayta, tabarakta Rabbana wa at'alayt. Wa salla Allahu ala al-Nabi Muhammad (O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, pardon me among those You have pardoned, turn to me in friendship among those on whom You have turned in friendship, and bless me in what You have bestowed, and save me from the evil of what You have decreed. For verily You decree and none can influence You; and he is not humiliated whom You have befriended. Blessed are You, O Lord, and Exalted. And may Allah (SWT) send salah upon the Prophet Muhammad
Traduction en ourdou
حسن بن علی رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وتر کے یہ کلمات سکھائے، آپ نے فرمایا: کہو: «اللہم اهدني فيمن هديت وبارك لي فيما أعطيت وتولني فيمن توليت وقني شر ما قضيت فإنك تقضي ولا يقضى عليك وإنه لا يذل من واليت تباركت ربنا وتعاليت وصلى اللہ على النبي محمد»۔
