كتاب قيام الليل والنوافل
Rapporté par Ishawq bin Mansur, il a dit : "Abu Dawud nous a rapporté, il a dit : Shu'ba nous a rapporté, de Qatadah, d'Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, que le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) récitait dans la prière du witr : 'Glorifie le nom de ton Seigneur, le Très-Haut', puis 'Dis : Ô vous les mécréants !', et 'Dis : Il est Allah, l'Unique'. Et lorsqu'il faisait le taslim, il disait : 'Subhanal-Malikil-Quddus' (Gloire au Souverain, le Très-Saint) trois fois, en allongeant ses paroles la troisième fois

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِـ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ { قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ } وَ { قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ } فَإِذَا فَرَغَ قَالَ " سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ " . ثَلاَثًا وَيَمُدُّ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ .
Traduction anglaise
Ishawq bin Mansur informed us, he said:"Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'ba narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite in witr: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;" and "Say: O you disbelievers!;' and 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One.' And when he said the taslim, he would say: Subhanal-Malikil-Quddus (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy) three times, elongating his words the third time

عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وتر میں «سبح اسم ربك الأعلى»، «قل يا أيها الكافرون» اور «قل هو اللہ أحد» پڑھتے تھے، اور جب فارغ ہو جاتے تو تین بار «سبحان الملك القدوس» کہتے، اور تیسری مرتبہ کھینچ کر کہتے۔
