Rapporté par Tawus : Ibn Umar a dit : « Un homme a demandé au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) à propos de la prière de nuit. Il a dit : “Deux par deux, et si tu crains que l’aube arrive, alors une.” »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ " مَثْنَى مَثْنَى فَإِذَا خَشِيتَ الصُّبْحَ فَوَاحِدَةٌ " .

It was narrated that Tawus said:"Ibn Umar said: "A man asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about prayer at night. He said: "Two by two, and if you fear that dawn will come, then one

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے رات کی نماز کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: دو دو رکعت ہے، اور جب تمہیں خدشہ ہو تو ایک رکعت پڑھ لو ۱؎۔
