Rapporté par Itban bin Malik : J’étais l’imam de mon peuple, les Bani Salim. Je suis allé voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et je lui ai dit : "J’ai perdu la vue et l’eau de pluie m’empêche d’aller à la mosquée de mon peuple. J’aimerais que tu viennes prier chez moi, à un endroit que je pourrais prendre comme lieu de prière." Le Prophète (ﷺ) répondit : "Je le ferai, si Allah le veut." Le lendemain, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est venu, accompagné d’Abu Bakr, après que la journée soit devenue chaude. Le Prophète (ﷺ) demanda la permission d’entrer, et je la lui ai donnée. Il ne s’est pas assis avant de demander : "Où veux-tu que je prie dans ta maison ?" Je lui ai montré l’endroit où je voulais qu’il prie, alors le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est tenu là, nous nous sommes alignés derrière lui, puis il a dit le salam et nous avons dit le salam en même temps que lui

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِتْبَانَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي بِقَوْمِي بَنِي سَالِمٍ فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي قَدْ أَنْكَرْتُ بَصَرِي وَإِنَّ السُّيُولَ تَحُولُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ مَسْجِدِ قَوْمِي فَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّكَ جِئْتَ فَصَلَّيْتَ فِي بَيْتِي مَكَانًا أَتَّخِذُهُ مَسْجِدًا . قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " سَأَفْعَلُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ " . فَغَدَا عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ - رضى الله عنه - مَعَهُ بَعْدَ مَا اشْتَدَّ النَّهَارُ فَاسْتَأْذَنَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَذِنْتُ لَهُ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى قَالَ " أَيْنَ تُحِبُّ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ مِنْ بَيْتِكَ " . فَأَشَرْتُ لَهُ إِلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي أُحِبُّ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ وَسَلَّمْنَا حِينَ سَلَّمَ .
Traduction anglaise
Itban bin Malik said:"I used to lead my people Bani Salim in prayer. I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: 'I have lost my eyesight and the rainwater prevents me from reaching the masjid of my people. I would like you to come and pray in my house in a place that I can take as a masjid.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'I will do that, if Allah (SWT) wills.' The next day, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came, and Abu Bakr was with him, after the day had grown hot. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked for permission to enter, and I gave him permission. He did not sit own until he asked: 'Where would you like me to pray in your house?' I showed him the place where I wanted him to pray, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood there and formed a row behind him, then he said the salam and we said the salam when he did
Traduction en ourdou
محمود بن ربیع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عتبان بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے سنا کہ میں اپنی قوم بنی سالم کو نماز پڑھایا کرتا تھا تو میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور آپ سے عرض کیا کہ میری آنکھیں کمزور ہو گئی ہیں، اور برسات میں میرے اور میری قوم کی مسجد کے درمیان سیلاب حائل ہو جاتا ہے، لہٰذا میری خواہش ہے کہ آپ میرے گھر تشریف لاتے، اور کسی جگہ میں نماز پڑھ دیتے تو میں اس جگہ کو اپنے لیے مسجد بنا لیتا، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اچھا ان شاءاللہ عنقریب آؤں گا ، چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خوب دن چڑھ آنے کے بعد میرے پاس تشریف لائے، آپ کے ساتھ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اندر آنے کی اجازت مانگی، میں نے آپ کو اندر تشریف لانے کے لیے کہا، آپ بیٹھے بھی نہیں کہ آپ نے پوچھا: تم اپنے گھر کے کس حصہ میں چاہتے ہو کہ میں نماز پڑھوں؟ تو میں نے اس جگہ کی طرف اشارہ کیا جہاں میں چاہتا تھا کہ آپ اس میں نماز پڑھیں، چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے، اور ہم نے آپ کے پیچھے صف باندھی، پھر آپ نے سلام پھیرا، اور ہم نے بھی سلام پھیرا جس وقت آپ نے سلام پھیرا۔
