Rapporté par 'Ali bin Abdur-Rahman : Ibn Umar m'a vu jouer avec les cailloux pendant la prière. Quand il a fini, il m'a dit de ne pas faire cela et a dit : "Fais comme le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) faisait." J'ai dit : "Que faisait-il ?" Il a dit : "Quand il s'asseyait pendant la prière, il posait sa main droite sur sa cuisse, serrait tous ses doigts, et pointait avec le doigt à côté du pouce, et il posait sa main gauche sur sa cuisse gauche

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ رَآنِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَأَنَا أَعْبَثُ، بِالْحَصَى فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ نَهَانِي وَقَالَ اصْنَعْ كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصْنَعُ . قُلْتُ وَكَيْفَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ قَالَ كَانَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ وَضَعَ كَفَّهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ وَقَبَضَ - يَعْنِي أَصَابِعَهُ كُلَّهَا - وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ الَّتِي تَلِي الإِبْهَامَ وَوَضَعَ كَفَّهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Ali bin Abdur-Rahman said:"Ibn Umar saw me playing with the pebbles while praying. When he finished (praying), he told me not to do that and said: 'Do what the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to do.' I said: 'What did he used to do?' He said: 'When he sat during the prayer, he placed his right hand on his thigh and clenched all his fingers, and pointed with the finger that is next to the thumb, and he put his left hand on his left thigh
Traduction en ourdou
علی بن عبدالرحمٰن کہتے ہیں کہ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم نے مجھے نماز میں کنکریوں سے کھیلتے دیکھا تو نماز سے فارغ ہونے کے بعد انہوں نے مجھے منع کیا، اور کہا: اس طرح کیا کرو جس طرح رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کرتے تھے، میں نے کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کس طرح کرتے تھے؟ کہا: جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز میں بیٹھتے تو اپنی دائیں ہتھیلی اپنی دائیں ران پر رکھتے ۱؎، اور اپنی سبھی انگلیاں سمیٹے رکھتے، اور اپنی اس انگلی سے جو انگوٹھے کے قریب ہے اشارہ کرتے، اور اپنی بائیں ہتھیلی اپنی بائیں ران پر رکھتے ۲؎۔
