Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a oublié et a fait le taslim après deux rak‘a. Dhul-Shimalain lui a dit : "La prière a-t-elle été raccourcie ou as-tu oublié, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ?" Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : "Dhul-Yadain dit-il la vérité ?" Ils ont répondu : "Oui." Alors le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est levé et a complété la prière

أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْفَرْوِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ نَسِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَلَّمَ فِي سَجْدَتَيْنِ . فَقَالَ لَهُ ذُو الشِّمَالَيْنِ أَقُصِرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَصَدَقَ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَتَمَّ الصَّلاَةَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forgot and said the taslim after two rak'ahs. Dhul-Shimalain said to him: 'Has the prayer been shortened or did you forget, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Is Dhul-Yadain speaking the truth?' They said: "Yes." So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up and completed the prayer
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( نماز میں ) بھول گئے، تو آپ نے دو ہی رکعت پر سلام پھیر دیا، تو آپ سے ذوالشمالین نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا نماز کم کر دی گئی ہے یا آپ بھول گئے ہیں؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( لوگوں سے ) پوچھا: کیا ذوالیدین سچ کہہ رہے ہیں؟ لوگوں نے کہا: جی ہاں، ( سچ کہہ رہے ہیں ) تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوئے، پھر آپ نے نماز پوری کی۔
