Hadith 989 — Livre 11: The Book of the Commencement of the Prayer
كتاب افتتاح الصلاة
Rapporté par Zaid bin Thabit : Il a dit à Marwan : « Ô Abu Abdul-Malik, récites-tu : “Dis : Il est Allah, l’Unique” et “En vérité, Nous t’avons accordé Al-Kawthar” au maghrib ? » Il a répondu : « Oui. » Zaid a dit : « Je jure par Allah, j’ai vu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) réciter la plus longue des deux longues sourates dans cette prière : “Alif-Lam-Mim-Sad”. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِمَرْوَانَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ أَتَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِـ { قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ } وَ { إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ } قَالَ نَعَمْ . قَالَ فَمَحْلُوفَةٌ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِيهَا بِأَطْوَلِ الطُّولَيَيْنِ { المص } .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Zaid bin Thabit that :He said to Marwan: "O Abu Abdul-Malik, do you recite: 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One' and 'Verily, We have granted you Al-Kawthar' in maghrib?" He said: "Yes." He (Zaid) said: "I swear by Allah, I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) reciting the longer of the two long surahs in it: 'Alif-Lam-Mim-Sad
Traduction en ourdou
زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے مروان سے پوچھا: اے ابوعبدالملک! کیا تم مغرب میں «قل هو اللہ أحد» اور «إنا أعطيناك الكوثر» پڑھتے ہو؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: جی ہاں! تو انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کی قسم! میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اس میں «المص» جو دو لمبی سورتوں ( انعام اور اعراف ) میں زیادہ لمبی ہے ( سورۃ الاعراف ) پڑھتے دیکھا ہے۔
