Hadith 875 — Livre 10: The Book of Leading the Prayer (Al-Imamah)

Rapporté par Abu Ishaq : Asim bin Damrah a dit : « J’ai demandé à ‘Ali bin Abi Talib comment le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) priait pendant la journée avant les prières obligatoires. Il a répondu : “Qui en est capable ?” Puis il nous a expliqué : “Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) priait deux unités de prière (rak‘a) après le zénith du soleil, et quatre unités avant le milieu de la journée, en terminant par le salut final.” »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَنْ صَلاَةِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي النَّهَارِ قَبْلَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ قَالَ مَنْ يُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ أَخْبَرَنَا قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي حِينَ تَزِيغُ الشَّمْسُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَقَبْلَ نِصْفِ النَّهَارِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ يَجْعَلُ التَّسْلِيمَ فِي آخِرِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Ishaq, that Asim bin Damrah said:"I asked 'Ali bin Abi Talib about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) during the day before the prescribed prayers. He said: 'Who is able to do that?' Then he told us:'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray two Rak'ahs when the sun had passed its zenith, and four Rak'ahs before the middle of the day, with the Taslim at the end
Traduction en ourdou
عاصم بن ضمرہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اس نماز کے بارے میں پوچھا جسے آپ دن میں فرض سے پہلے پڑھتے تھے، تو انہوں نے کہا: کون اس کی طاقت رکھتا ہے؟ پھر انہوں نے ہمیں بتایا، اور کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جس وقت سورج ڈھل جاتا دو رکعت پڑھتے، اور نصف النہار ہونے سے پہلے چار رکعت پڑھتے، اور اس کے آخر میں سلام پھیرتے۔
