Rapporté par Thabit, l'affranchi d'Abdur-Rahman bin Zaid : Il a entendu Abu Hurairah dire : « Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : Si un chien lèche le récipient de l'un de vous, qu'il le lave sept fois. »

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّ ثَابِتًا، مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
Thabit, the freed slave of 'Abdur-Rahman bin Zaid narrated that he heard Abu Hurairah say:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کسی کے برتن میں کتا منہ ڈال دے تو وہ اسے سات مرتبہ دھوئے ۔
