Rapporté par Ja'far bin Muhammad : Mon père m'a dit : "Nous sommes allés voir Jabir bin 'Abdullah et nous lui avons demandé comment le Prophète (ﷺ) avait fait le Hajj. Il a raconté : 'Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) est parti alors qu'il restait cinq jours de Dhul-Qa'dah, et nous sommes partis avec lui. Quand il est arrivé à Dhul-Hulaifah, Asma' bint 'Umais a donné naissance à Muhammad bin Abi Bakr. Elle a envoyé demander au Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) ce qu'elle devait faire. Il a dit : "Fais le ghusl, mets-toi une protection, puis commence la talbiyah pour l'ihram

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَيَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، أَتَيْنَا جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَسَأَلْنَاهُ عَنْ حَجَّةِ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم فَحَدَّثَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَرَجَ لِخَمْسٍ بَقِينَ مِنْ ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ وَخَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا أَتَى ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلَدَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ قَالَ " اغْتَسِلِي وَاسْتَثْفِرِي ثُمَّ أَهِلِّي " .
Traduction anglaise
Ja'far bin Muhammad said:"My father told me: 'We cam to jabir bin 'Abdullah and asked him about the hajj of the prophet (ﷺ). He narrated: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) set out when there were five (days) remaining in Dhul-Qa'dah, and we set out with him. When he came to Dhul-Hulaifah, Asma' bint 'Umais gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr. She sent word to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asking what she should do. He said: 'Perform Ghusl, bind yourself with a cloth then begin (the Talbiyah for Ihram)

محمد کہتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ جابر بن عبداللہ کے پاس آئے، اور ہم نے ان سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے حج ( حجۃ الوداع ) کے متعلق دریافت کیا، تو انہوں نے ہم سے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پچیس ذی قعدہ کو نکلے ہم لوگ بھی آپ کے ساتھ نکلے، یہاں تک کہ جب آپ ذوالحلیفہ پہنچے تو اسماء بنت عمیس نے محمد بن ابوبکر کو جنا، تو انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آدمی بھیج کر دریافت کیا کہ اب میں کیا کروں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: غسل کر لو اور لنگوٹ کس لو، پھر لبیک پکارو ۔
