Hadith 209 — Livre 1: The Book of Purification
كتاب الطهارة
Rapporté par 'Aïcha : Umm Habibah bint Jahsh, mariée à 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf, avait des saignements hors règles (Istihadah) et ne devenait pas pure. On a parlé de sa situation au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et il a dit : « Ce n’est pas les règles, c’est un coup dans l’utérus, alors qu’elle calcule la durée de ses règles habituelles, qu’elle arrête de prier pendant ce temps, puis après cela, qu’elle fasse le Ghusl pour chaque prière. »

أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ الَّتِي، كَانَتْ تَحْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَأَنَّهَا اسْتُحِيضَتْ لاَ تَطْهُرْ فَذُكِرَ شَأْنُهَا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِالْحَيْضَةِ وَلَكِنَّهَا رَكْضَةٌ مِنَ الرَّحِمِ فَلْتَنْظُرْ قَدْرَ قُرْئِهَا الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَحِيضُ لَهَا فَلْتَتْرُكِ الصَّلاَةَ ثُمَّ تَنْظُرْ مَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Aishah that Umm Habibah bint Jahsh who was married to 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf suffered from Istihadah (non-mentrual vaginal bleeding) and did not become pure. Her situation was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he said:'That is not menstruation, rather it is a kick [1] in the womb, so let her work out the length of the menses that she used to have, and stop praying (for that period of tie), then after that period of time), then after that let her perform Ghusl for every prayer.'" [1] A kick in the womb: in other narrations means "A kick from Shaitan,", meaning that the Shaitan uses it to confuse her about her religious commitment

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ ام حبیبہ بنت جحش رضی اللہ عنہا کو جو عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کے عقد میں تھیں استحاضہ ہو گیا ( جس سے ) وہ پاک ہی نہیں رہ پاتی تھیں، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ان کا معاملہ ذکر کیا گیا، تو آپ صلی تخریج دارالدعوہ: تفرد بہ النسائی ( تحفة الأشراف: ۱۷۹۵۴ ) ، مسند احمد ۶/ ۱۲۸، مسند احمد ۶/ ۱۲۹، ویأتي عند المؤلف في الحیض ۴ رقم: ۳۵۶ ( صحیح ) اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ حیض کا خون نہیں ہے، بلکہ وہ رحم میں ( شیطان کی طرف سے ) ایک ایڑ ہے ۱؎ تو وہ اپنے حیض کی مقدار کو جس میں اسے حیض آتا تھا یاد رکھے، پھر اسی کے بقدر نماز چھوڑ دے، پھر اس کے بعد جو دیکھے تو ہر نماز کے وقت غسل کرے ۔
