Rapporté par Abu 'Abdullah Salim Sabalan : 'Aishah aimait mon honnêteté et m'a engagé, et elle m'a montré comment le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) faisait les ablutions. Elle s'est rincé la bouche, a inspiré de l'eau dans son nez et l'a rejetée trois fois, et a lavé son visage trois fois. Ensuite, elle a lavé sa main droite trois fois et sa main gauche trois fois. Ensuite, elle a posé sa main sur le devant de sa tête et a essuyé sa tête une fois, de l'avant vers l'arrière. Ensuite, elle a frotté ses oreilles avec ses mains, puis elle a passé ses mains sur ses joues. Salim a dit : "Je suis venu à elle comme esclave avec un contrat d'affranchissement, et elle ne se cachait pas de moi. Elle s'asseyait devant moi et me parlait, jusqu'au jour où je suis venu la voir et lui ai dit : 'Prie pour que je sois béni, ô Mère des croyants.' Elle a dit : 'Pourquoi cela ?' J'ai répondu : 'Allah m'a affranchi.' Elle a dit : 'Qu'Allah te bénisse.' Ensuite, elle a baissé le voile devant moi, et je ne l'ai plus jamais vue après ce jour

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ جُعَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ذُبَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، سَالِمٌ سَبَلاَنُ قَالَ وَكَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تَسْتَعْجِبُ بِأَمَانَتِهِ وَتَسْتَأْجِرُهُ فَأَرَتْنِي كَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَوَضَّأُ فَتَمَضْمَضَتْ وَاسْتَنْثَرَتْ ثَلاَثًا وَغَسَلَتْ وَجْهَهَا ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَتْ يَدَهَا الْيُمْنَى ثَلاَثًا وَالْيُسْرَى ثَلاَثًا وَوَضَعَتْ يَدَهَا فِي مُقَدَّمِ رَأْسِهَا ثُمَّ مَسَحَتْ رَأْسَهَا مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً إِلَى مُؤَخَّرِهِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَّتْ يَدَيْهَا بِأُذُنَيْهَا ثُمَّ مَرَّتْ عَلَى الْخَدَّيْنِ قَالَ سَالِمٌ كُنْتُ آتِيهَا مُكَاتَبًا مَا تَخْتَفِي مِنِّي فَتَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ وَتَتَحَدَّثُ مَعِي حَتَّى جِئْتُهَا ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَقُلْتُ ادْعِي لِي بِالْبَرَكَةِ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ . قَالَتْ وَمَا ذَاكَ قُلْتُ أَعْتَقَنِي اللَّهُ . قَالَتْ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ . وَأَرْخَتِ الْحِجَابَ دُونِي فَلَمْ أَرَهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ .
Traduction anglaise
Abu 'Abdullah Salim Sabalan said:"'Aishah liked my honesty and hired me, and she showed me how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to perform Wudu'. She rinsed her mouth, sniffed water into her nose and blew it out three times, and washed her face three times. Then she washed her right hand three times and her left hand three times. Then she put her hand on the front of her head and wiped her head once, front to back. Then she rubbed her ears with her hands, then she passed her hands over her cheeks." Salim said: "I came to her as a slave with a contract of manumission, and she did not hide herself from me. She would sit before me and talk to me, until I came to her one day and said: 'Pray for blessing for me, O Mother of Believers.' She said: 'Why is that?' I said: 'Allah has set me free.' She said: 'May Allah bless you.' Then she lowered the Hijab before me, and I never saw her again after that day

ابوعبداللہ سالم سبلان کہتے ہیں کہ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا ان کی امانت پر تعجب کرتی تھیں، اور ان سے اجرت پر کام لیتی تھیں، چنانچہ آپ رضی اللہ عنہا نے مجھے دکھایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کیسے وضو کرتے تھے؟ چنانچہ آپ رضی اللہ عنہا نے تین بار کلی کی، اور ناک جھاڑی اور تین بار اپنا چہرہ دھویا، پھر تین بار اپنا دایاں ہاتھ دھویا، اور تین بار بایاں، پھر اپنا ہاتھ اپنے سر کے اگلے حصہ پر رکھا، اور اپنے سر کا اس کے پچھلے حصہ تک ایک بار مسح کیا، پھر اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں کو اپنے دونوں کانوں پر پھیرا، پھر دونوں رخساروں پر پھیرا، سالم کہتے ہیں: میں بطور مکاتب ( غلام ) کے ان کے پاس آتا تھا اور آپ مجھ سے پردہ نہیں کرتی تھیں، میرے سامنے بیٹھتیں اور مجھ سے گفتگو کرتی تھیں، یہاں تک کہ ایک دن میں ان کے پاس آیا، اور ان سے کہا: ام المؤمنین! میرے لیے برکت کی دعا کر دیجئیے، وہ بولیں: کیا بات ہے؟ میں نے کہا: اللہ نے مجھے آزادی دے دی ہے، انہوں نے کہا: اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں برکت سے نوازے، اور پھر آپ نے میرے سامنے پردہ لٹکا دیا، اس دن کے بعد سے میں نے انہیں نہیں دیکھا۔
