كتاب صفة النبي ﷺ
Hicham Ibn Ourwa a rapporté ce qui suit: «On n'apportait jamais à mon père ni de manger, ni à boire, même pas le remède qu'il n'ait goûté, ou bu, sans avoir dit: «Louange à Allah qui nous a guidés, nous a donné à manger et à boire, qui nous a même accordé ses bienfaits. Allah est Grand! Tu nous a comblés de Tes bienfaits sans que nous nous montrions à Ton égard, reconaissants, et nous jouissions matin et soir de tous Tes biens. Nous Te demandons leur complétude et que nous en soyions reconnaissants (entendant à l'égard des bienfaits). Il n'y a d'autre bien que le Tien, d'autre divinité que Toi, Seigneur des bons serviteurs, et Seigneur des mondes. Louange à Allah, il n'y a d'autre divinité que Toi, telle est la volonté d'Allah; il n'y a de force qu'en Allah. Grand Allah Bénis les biens que Tu nous donnes, et écarte-nous du châtiment de l'Enfer»

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ لاَ يُؤْتَى أَبَدًا بِطَعَامٍ وَلاَ شَرَابٍ حَتَّى الدَّوَاءُ فَيَطْعَمَهُ أَوْ يَشْرَبَهُ إِلاَّ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا وَأَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَاوَنَعَّمَنَا اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُمَّ أَلْفَتْنَا نِعْمَتُكَ بِكُلِّ شَرٍّ فَأَصْبَحْنَا مِنْهَا وَأَمْسَيْنَا بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ نَسْأَلُكَ تَمَامَهَا وَشُكْرَهَا لاَ خَيْرَ إِلاَّ خَيْرُكَ وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ إِلَهَ الصَّالِحِينَ وَرَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ . قَالَ يَحْيَى سُئِلَ مَالِكٌ هَلْ تَأْكُلُ الْمَرْأَةُ مَعَ غَيْرِ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ مِنْهَا أَوْ مَعَ غُلاَمِهَا فَقَالَ مَالِكٌ لَيْسَ بِذَلِكَ بَأْسٌ إِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى وَجْهِ مَا يُعْرَفُ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ مَعَهُ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ . قَالَ وَقَدْ تَأْكُلُ الْمَرْأَةُ مَعَ زَوْجِهَا وَمَعَ غَيْرِهِ مِمَّنْ يُؤَاكِلُهُ أَوْ مَعَ أَخِيهَا عَلَى مِثْلِ ذَلِكَ وَيُكْرَهُ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَخْلُوَ مَعَ الرَّجُلِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا حُرْمَةٌ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa that his father never brought food or drink, nor even a remedy which he ate or drank but that he said, "Praise be to Allah who has guided us and fed us and given us to drink and blessed us. Allah is greater. O Allah! We have found Your blessing with every evil, give us every good in the morning and evening. We ask You for its completion and its gratitude. There is no good except Your good. There is no god other than You, the God of the salihun and the Lord of the Worlds. Praise be to Allah. There is no god but Allah. What Allah wills. There is no power except in Allah. O Allah! Bless us in what You have provided us with and protect us from the punishment of the Fire!" Al-hamdu lillahi-lladhi hadana wa at amana wa saqana wa naamana. Allahu akbar. Allahumma'l fatna nimatik bi-kulli sharr. Fa asbahna minha wa amsayna bi-kulli khayr. Nasaluka tamamaha wa shukraha. La khayr illa khayruk. Wa la ilaha ghayruk. Ilaha'-saliheen wa rabba'l-alameen. Al-hamdu lillah. Wa la ilaha illa'llah. Ma sha'Allah. Wa la quwwata illa billah. Allahumma barik lana fima razaqtana. Waqina adhaba'n-nar
Traduction en ourdou
عروہ بن زبیر کے سامنے جب کوئی کھانے پینے کی چیز آتی یہاں تک کہ دوا بھی تو اس کو کھاتے پیتے اور کہتے سب خوبیاں اسی پروردگار کو لائق ہیں جس نے ہم کو ہدایت کی اور کھلایا اور پلایا اور نعمتیں عطا فرمائیں وہ اللہ بڑا ہے اے پروردگار تیری نعمت اس وقت آئی جب ہم سراسر برائی میں مصروف تھے ہم نے صبح کی اور شام کی اس نعمت کی وجہ سے اچھی طرح ، ہم چاہتے ہیں تو پورا کرے اس نعمت کو اور ہمیں شکر کی توفیق دے سوائے تیری بہتری کے کہیں بہتری نہیں ہے کوئی معبود برحق نہیں سوائے تیرے اے پروردگار نیکوں کے اور پالنے والے سارے جہاں کے سب خوبیاں اللہ کو زیبا ہیں کوئی سچا معبود نہیں سوائے اس کے جو چاہتا ہے اللہ وہی ہوتا ہے کسی میں طاقت نہیں سوائے اللہ کے یا اللہ برکت دے ہماری روزی میں اور بچا ہم کو دوزخ کے عذاب سے ۔
