كتاب صفة النبي ﷺ
Sahl Ibn Sa'd Al-Ansari a rapporté ce qui suit: «En apportant à boire à l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah), il but, alors qu'il avait à sa droite un jeune homme, et à sa gauche des vieillards. Alors, il dit après avoir bu, au jeune homme: «me permets-tu de leur donner à boire avant toi»? Et le jeune homme de répondre: «non, par Allah! ô Envoyé d'Allah je ne donne mon tour à un autre que toi». Ainsi, l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) lui donna tout de suite à boire». Chapitre X Au sujet du manger et du boire

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُتِيَ بِشَرَابٍ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ غُلاَمٌ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ الأَشْيَاخُ فَقَالَ لِلْغُلاَمِ " أَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أُعْطِيَ هَؤُلاَءِ " . فَقَالَ الْغُلاَمُ لاَ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لاَ أُوثِرُ بِنَصِيبِي مِنْكَ أَحَدًا . قَالَ فَتَلَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي يَدِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu Hazim ibn Dinar from Sahl ibn Sad al-Ansari that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was brought a drink and he drank some of it. There was a boy at his right and some old men on his left. He said to the boy, "Will you give me permission to give it to these people?" The boy said, "No, Messenger of Allah, I will not prefer anyone to get my portion from you." He said, "So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, placed it in his hand
Traduction en ourdou
سہل بن سعد سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس دودھ آیا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے پیا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے داہنی طرف ایک لڑکا تھا اور بائیں طرف بوڑھے بوڑھے لوگ تھے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے لڑکے سے فرمایا اگر تو اجازت دے تو پہلے میں ان لوگوں کو دے دوں؟ جو بائیں طرف تھے، لڑکے نے کہا نہیں! اللہ کی قسم یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم میں اپنا حصہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے جو ٹھے میں سے کسی کو دینا نہیں چاہتا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اسی لڑکے کو دے دیا ۔
