كتاب اللباس
Al'Ala Ibn Abdul Rahman a rapporté d'après son père, qu'il a demandé Abou Sa'id Al-Khoudri au sujet de l'izar? Il lui répondit: «Moi, je peux te l'apprendre. J'ai entendu l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) dire: «L'izar du croyant ne doit pas aller au-delà de la mi-jambe. Ainsi, il n'y a pas de mal à ce que ça soit au-dessus des talons; mais si l'izar va plus bas que les talons, ceci ira à l'Enfer, et plus bas encore, ira à l'Enfer. Allah Y , le jour de la résurrection, ne regardera pas, celui qui traîne vaniteusement son habit». Chapitre VI Au sujet de la femme qui traine ses vêtements

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ عَنِ الإِزَارِ، فَقَالَ أَنَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِعِلْمٍ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ سَاقَيْهِ لاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَفِي النَّارِ مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَفِي النَّارِ لاَ يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَى مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from al Ala ibn Abd ar-Rahman that his father said, "I asked Abu Said al-Khudri about the lower garment. He said that he would inform me with knowledge and that he had heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'The lower garment of the mumin should reach to the middle of his calves. There is no harm in what is between that and the ankles. What is lower than that is in the Fire. What is lower than that is in the Fire. On the Day of Rising, Allah will not look at a person who trails his lower garment in arrogance
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالرحمن بن یعقوب سے روایت ہے کہ کہتے ہیں ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا ازار کا حال انہوں نے کہا مجھے علم ہے میں بتاتا ہوں میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے سنا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم فرماتے تھے کہ مومن کی ازار پنڈلیوں تک ہوتی ہے خیر ٹخنوں تک بھی رکھے تو کچھ قباحت نہیں ہے اس سے نیچے جہنم میں جانے کی بات ہے اللہ قیامت کے روز اس شخص کی طرف نظر نہ کرے گا جو اپنی ازار لٹکائے غرو اور گھمنڈ کے طور پر ۔
