كتاب النكاح
Anas Ibn Malek a rapporté que Abdel Rahman Ibn Awf, vint auprès de l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) et un «Sofra» (genre de parfum) l'enveloppait. L'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) l'interrogeant à ce sujet, il lui répondit qu'il s'était marié, L'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) lui dit alors: «Quelle a été sa dot»? Abdel Rahman répondit: «Le poids d'un noyau en or». L'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) lui répliqua: «Que le repas de noces, à donner, en soit au moins, d'un mouton»

وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ، جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَبِهِ أَثَرُ صُفْرَةٍ فَسَأَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ تَزَوَّجَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " كَمْ سُقْتَ إِلَيْهَا " . فَقَالَ زِنَةَ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ . فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Humayd at-Tawil from Anas ibn Malik that Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he had a traceof yellow on him. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked about it. He told him that he had just been married. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "How much did you hand over to her?" He said, "The weight of a date pit in gold." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him, "Hold a feast, even if it is only with a sheep
Traduction en ourdou
انس بن مالک سے روایت ہے کہ عبدالرحمن بن عوف رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے اور ان پر زردی کا نشان تھا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا یہ کیا ہے انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے ایک انصاری عورت سے نکاح کیا ہے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کیا مہر دیا ہے انہوں نے کہا ایک گٹھلی برابر سونا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ولیمہ کر اگرچہ ایک بکری کا ہو۔
