كتاب الجهاد
Yahia Ibn Sa'id a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a été vu essuyant la tête de son cheval de son manteau. Comme on lui demanda d'expliquer cela, il répondit: «On me reprocha, cette nuit, d'avoir négligé les chevaux»

Texte arabe original
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رُئِيَ وَهُوَ يَمْسَحُ وَجْهَ فَرَسِهِ بِرِدَائِهِ فَسُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ " إِنِّي عُوتِبْتُ اللَّيْلَةَ فِي الْخَيْلِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was seen wiping the face of his horse with his cloak. He was questioned about it and said, "I was reproached in the night about horses." i.e. not taking care of them

یحیی بن سعید سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو لوگوں نے دیکھا کہ اپنے گھوڑے کا منہ چادر سے صاف کر رہے ہیں لوگوں نے اس کا سبب پوچھا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ رات مجھ پر عتاب ہوا گھوڑے کی خبر نہ لینے پر ۔
