Nafe' a rapporté qu'il a vu Safia Bint Abi Oubaid, la femme de Abdallah Ibn Omar, se dévoiler et passer ses mains humides sur sa tête». Nafe', à cette époque, était tout jeune. On demanda à Malek au sujet de frotter le turban et le voile, il répondit: «un homme ne doit pas frotter son turban, ni une femme son voile; ils doivent tous deux passer les mains humides sur leurs têtes». On demanda également Malek au sujet d'un homme qui a fait ses ablutions mais en oubliant de frotter la tête, jusqu'à ce que l'eau ait séché»?. Il répondit: «Je pense qu'il doit se frotter la tête, et s'il a déjà fait sa prière, qu'il la refasse». Chapitre VIII Du fait de frotter les bottines (Khouffs)

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ امْرَأَةَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ تَنْزِعُ خِمَارَهَا وَتَمْسَحُ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا بِالْمَاءِ وَنَافِعٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ صَغِيرٌ . وَسُئِلَ مَالِكٌ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْعِمَامَةِ وَالْخِمَارِ فَقَالَ لاَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَمْسَحَ الرَّجُلُ وَلاَ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عِمَامَةٍ وَلاَ خِمَارٍ وَلْيَمْسَحَا عَلَى رُءُوسِهِمَا . وَسُئِلَ مَالِكٌ عَنْ رَجُلٍ تَوَضَّأَ فَنَسِيَ أَنْ يَمْسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ حَتَّى جَفَّ وَضُوءُهُ قَالَ أَرَى أَنْ يَمْسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَإِنْ كَانَ قَدْ صَلَّى أَنْ يُعِيدَ الصَّلاَةَ .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that she saw Safiyya bint Abi Ubayd, the wife of Abdullah ibn 'Umar, take off her head- covering and wipe her head with water. Nafi was a child at the time. Malik was asked about a man who did wudu but forgot to wipe his head until the water had dried. He said, "I consider that he should wipe his head and then repeat the prayer if he has already performed it." نافع سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے دیکھا صفیہ کو جو بیوی تھیں عبداللہ بن عمر کی اتارتی تھیں اس کپڑے کو جس سے سر ڈھانپتے ہیں اور مسح کرتی تھیں اپنے سر پر پانی سے اور نافع اس وقت نابالغ تھے ۔
