كتاب الطهارة
Rabi'a Ibn Abi Abdel-Rahman a rapporté que Aicha la femme du Prophète (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) était couchée avec l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) portant un seul vêtement, et brusquement elle bondit». Il lui dit: «qu'as-tu? as-tu tes menstrues»? Elle répondit:«Oui». Il répliqua: «mets un izar autour de ta taille, et reviens te coucher»

Texte arabe original
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَتْ مُضْطَجِعَةً مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ وَأَنَّهَا قَدْ وَثَبَتْ وَثْبَةً شَدِيدَةً فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا لَكِ لَعَلَّكِ نَفِسْتِ " . يَعْنِي الْحَيْضَةَ . فَقَالَتْ نَعَمْ . قَالَ " شُدِّي عَلَى نَفْسِكِ إِزَارَكِ ثُمَّ عُودِي إِلَى مَضْجَعِكِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik from Rabia ibn Abi Abd ar-Rahman that on one occasion A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was sleeping with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in one garment, when suddenly she jumped up sharply. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to her, "What's the matter with you? Are you losing blood?", meaning menstruating. She said, "Yes." He said, "Wrap your waist-wrapper tightly about you, and return to your sleeping- place
Traduction en ourdou
ربیعہ بن ابی عبدالرحمن رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ روایت ہے کہ حضرت عائشہ لیٹی تھیں ساتھ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ایک کپڑے میں اتنے میں کود کر الگ ہو گئیں تو فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے شائد حیض آیا تجھ کو کہا ہاں تو فرمایا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے باندھ لے تہ بند اپنے پھر آ کو وہیں لیٹ جا ۔
