كتاب أوقيت الصلاة
Ata Ibn Yassar a rapporté qu'un homme vint trouver l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) et lui demanda le moment de la prière de l'aurore, mais il ne lui répondit pas. Et, lorsque ce fut le lendemain, l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) fit la prière de l'aurore juste à l'apparition de l'aube, et le surlendemain, il la fit à la clarté du jour, puis demanda: «où est l'homme qui est venu me demander au sujet de moment de la prière (de l'aurore)?» L'homme répondit: «me voilà ô Envoyé d'Allah. L'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) répliqua: «il est à situer entre ces deux temps»

وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ وَقْتِ صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ قَالَ فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ مِنَ الْغَدِ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ مِنَ الْغَدِ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَسْفَرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنْ وَقْتِ الصَّلاَةِ " . قَالَ هَا أَنَا ذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . فَقَالَ " مَا بَيْنَ هَذَيْنِ وَقْتٌ " .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam that Ata ibn Yasar said, "A man came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and asked him about the time of the subh prayer. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did not answer him, but in the morning he prayed subh at first light. The following morning he prayed subh when it was much lighter, and then said, 'Where is the man who was asking about the time of the prayer?' The man replied, 'Here I am, Messenger of Allah.' He said,'The time is between these two
Traduction en ourdou
روایت ہے عطا بن یسار سے ایک شخص آیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس اور پوچھا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نماز صبح کا وقت تو چپ ہو رہے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب دوسرا روز ہوا نماز پڑھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اندھیرے منہ صبح صادق نکلتے ہی پھر تیسرے روز نماز پڑھی فجر کی روشنی میں اور فرمایا کہ کہاں ہے وہ شخص جس نے نماز فجر کا وقت دریافت کیا تھا اور وہ شخص بول اٹھا میں ہوں یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرمایا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز فجر کا وقت ان دونوں کے بیچ ہے ۔
