Hadith 6459 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a demandé en mariage Umm Hani, la fille d’Abu Talib. Elle a répondu : « Ô Messager d’Allah, je suis âgée et j’ai une grande famille. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a alors dit : « Les meilleures femmes sont celles qui montent les chameaux. » Le reste du hadith est le même, mais au lieu du mot « Ar’a », c’est le mot « Ahna » qui est utilisé, et la phrase complète est : « Elles traitent les enfants avec affection pendant leur enfance. »

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِ��ٍ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ عَبْدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ ابْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَطَبَ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي قَدْ كَبِرْتُ وَلِيَ عِيَالٌ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " خَيْرُ نِسَاءٍ رَكِبْنَ " . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " أَحْنَاهُ عَلَى وَلَدٍ فِي صِغَرِهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) gave a proposal of marriage to Umm Hani, the daughter of Abu Talib, whereupon she said:Allah's Messenger, I am of an advanced age with a (large) family. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: The best women are those who ride (the camels) ; the rest of the hadith is the same but with this difference that, instead of the word Ar'a the word Ahna has been used (and the complete sentence is like this): That they treat children in their childhood with affection

معمر نے زہری سے ، انھوں نے ابن مسیب سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حضرت ام ہانی بنت ابی طالب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو نکاح کا پیغام بھجوایا ، انھوں نے کہا : اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم !اب میں بوڑھی ہوگئی ہوں اور میرےبہت سے بچے ہیں ، اس پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " ( اونٹوں پر ) سوار ہونے والی عورتوں میں سے بہترین " پھر یونس کی حدیث کی طرح بیان کیا مگر یوں کیا : " اس کی کم سنی میں بچے پر سب سے زیادہ مہربان ہوتی ہیں ۔
