Hadith 876 — Livre 4: The Book of Prayers
كتاب الصلاة
Rapporté par Mahmud ibn al-Rabi’, sur le témoignage de ‘Ubada ibn as-Samit : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Celui qui ne récite pas Umm al-Qur’an (la Fatiha) n’a pas accompli la prière. »

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ مَحْمُودَ بْنَ الرَّبِيعِ الَّذِي، مَجَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي وَجْهِهِ مِنْ بِئْرِهِمْ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ صَلاَةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Mahmud b. al-Rabi', on whose face the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) squirted water from the well, reported on the authority of 'Ubada b. as- Samit that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:He who does not recite Umm al-Qur'an is not credited with having observed prayer
Traduction en ourdou
صالح نے ابن شہاب سے روایت کی کہ حضرت محمود بن ربیع رضی اللہ عنہ نے ، جن کے چہرے پر رسول اللہﷺ نے ان کے کنویں سے کلی کر کے پانی کا چھینٹا دیا تھا ، انہیں بتایا کہ حضرت عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں بتایا کہ رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا رضی اللہ عنہ ’’جس نے ام القریٰ کی قراءت نہ کی ، اس کی کوئی نماز نہیں ۔ ‘ ‘
