Ce hadith a été rapporté par Shu’ba avec la même chaîne de transmetteurs, sauf qu’il n’est pas fait mention du récit de ‘Ata b. Yasir comme dans le hadith précédent

وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ قِصَّةَ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ فِي أَوَّلِ الْحَدِيثِ .
Traduction anglaise
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters except for the fact that no mention has been made of the account of 'Ata b. Yasir as in the previous hadith

عبید اللہ بن معاذ کے والد نے کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے اسی سند کے ساتھ یہ حدیث سنا ئی مگر انھوں نے حدیث کے آغاز میں عطاء بن یسار کا واقعہ بیان نہیں کیا ۔
