Rapporté par Aïcha رضي الله عنها : Nous voulions donner un médicament au Messager d’Allah ﷺ pendant sa maladie, mais il a fait un geste de la main pour montrer qu’il ne voulait pas qu’on lui donne de force. Nous avons dit : « C’est peut-être parce que les malades n’aiment pas les médicaments. » Quand il a repris connaissance, il a dit : « On doit donner le médicament dans la bouche de chacun de vous, sauf Ibn ‘Abbas, car il n’était pas présent avec vous. »

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي، عَائِشَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ لَدَدْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي مَرَضِهِ فَأَشَارَ أَنْ لاَ تَلُدُّونِي . فَقُلْنَا كَرَاهِيَةُ الْمَرِيضِ لِلدَّوَاءِ . فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ " لاَ يَبْقَى أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ إِلاَّ لُدَّ غَيْرُ الْعَبَّاسِ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَشْهَدْكُمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
A'isha reported:we (intended to pour) medicine in the mouth of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in his illness, but he pointed out (with the gesture of his hand) that it should not be poured into the mouth against his will. We said: (It was perhaps due to the natural) aversion of the patient against medicine. When he recovered, he said: Medicine should be poured into the mouth of every one of you except Ibn 'Abbas, for he was not present amongst you
Traduction en ourdou
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے ، انھوں نے کہا : نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کےمرض میں ہم نے آپ کی مرضی کے بغیر منہ کے کونے سے آپ کے دہن مبارک میں دوائی ڈالی ، آپ نے اشارے سے روکا بھی کہ مجھے زبردستی دوائی نہ پلاؤ ، ہم نے ( آپس میں ) کہا : یہ مریض کی طبعی طور پر دوائی کی ناپسندیدگی ( کی وجہ سے ) ہے ۔ جب آپ کو افاقہ ہوا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " تم میں سے کوئی نہ بچے ، سب کو زبردستی ( ہی ) دوائی پلائی جائے ، سوائے عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے کیونکہ وہ تمھارے ساتھ موجود نہیں تھے ۔
