Hadith 3873 — Livre 21: The Book of Transactions
كتاب البيوع
Rapporté par Abu Bakhtari : J’ai demandé à Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنه au sujet de la vente de dattes. Il a dit : « Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a interdit la vente de dattes sur les arbres avant qu’on puisse les manger (c’est-à-dire qu’elles soient bonnes à consommer) ou avant qu’elles ne soient pesées (ou mesurées). » J’ai demandé : « Que veut dire : “Avant qu’elles ne soient pesées” ? » Une personne présente avec lui (Ibn 'Abbas) a répondu : « Jusqu’à ce qu’on puisse les garder avec soi après les avoir cueillies. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ، فَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يَأْكُلَ مِنْهُ أَوْ يُؤْكَلَ وَحَتَّى يُوزَنَ . قَالَ فَقُلْتُ مَا يُوزَنُ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَهُ حَتَّى يَحْزَرَ .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Bakhtari reported:I asked Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) about the sale of dates. He said: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade the sale of dates of the trees until one eats them or they are eaten (i. e. they are fit to be eaten) or until they are weighed (or measured). I said: What does it imply:" Until it is weighed"? Thereupon a person who was with him (Ibn Abbas) said: Until he is able to keep it with him (after plucking them)

ابو بختری سے روایت ہے ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے کھجور کی بیع کے بارے میں دریافت کیا تو انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کھجور کی بیع سے منع فرمایا حتی کہ وہ اس سے خود کھا سکے یا وہ کھائے جانے کے قابل ہو جائے ، اور یہاں تک کہ اس کا وزن کیا جا سکے ۔ میں نے کہا : اس کا وزن کیے جانے سے کیا مراد ہے؟ ان کے پاس موجود ایک شخص نے کہا : اس ( کے وزن ) کا اندازہ لگایا جا سکے
