Hadith 3757 — Livre 19: The Book of Invoking Curses
كتاب اللعان
Rapporté par Muhammad : J’ai demandé à Anas b. Malik رضي الله عنه, sachant qu’il connaissait le cas du li'an. Il a dit : Hilal b. Umayya رضي الله عنه a accusé sa femme d’adultère avec Sharik b. Sahma, le frère de al-Bara’ b. Malik du côté maternel. Il a été le premier à invoquer la malédiction (li'an) en Islam. Il a effectivement invoqué la malédiction contre elle. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Regardez si elle donne naissance à un enfant à la peau claire, aux cheveux noirs et aux yeux brillants, alors il est le fils de Hilal b. Umayya. Mais si elle donne naissance à un enfant aux paupières foncées, aux cheveux frisés et aux jambes fines, alors il est le fils de Sharik b. Sahma. » On m’a informé qu’elle a donné naissance à un enfant aux paupières foncées, aux cheveux frisés et aux jambes fines

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ وَأَنَا أُرَى، أَنَّ عِنْدَهُ، مِنْهُ عِلْمًا . فَقَالَ إِنَّ هِلاَلَ بْنَ أُمَيَّةَ قَذَفَ امْرَأَتَهُ بِشَرِيكِ ابْنِ سَحْمَاءَ وَكَانَ أَخَا الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ لأُمِّهِ وَكَانَ أَوَّلَ رَجُلٍ لاَعَنَ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ - قَالَ - فَلاَعَنَهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَبْصِرُوهَا فَإِنْ جَاءَتْ بِهِ أَبْيَضَ سَبِطًا قَضِيءَ الْعَيْنَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِهِلاَلِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ وَإِنْ جَاءَتْ بِهِ أَكْحَلَ جَعْدًا حَمْشَ السَّاقَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِشَرِيكِ ابْنِ سَحْمَاءَ " . قَالَ فَأُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ بِهِ أَكْحَلَ جَعْدًا حَمْشَ السَّاقَيْنِ .
Traduction anglaise
Muhammad (one of the narrators) reported:I asked Anas b. Malik (Allah be pleased with him) knowing that he had a knowledge of (the case of li'an). He said: Hilal b. Umayya (Allah be pleased with him) accused his wife with the charge of fornication with Sharik b. Sahma, the brother of al-Bara'b Malik from the side of his mother. And he was the first person who invoked curse (li'an) in Islam. He in fact invoked curse upon her. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: See to her if she gives birth to a white-complexioned child having dark hair and bright eyes; he must be the son of Hilal b. Umayya; and if she gives birth to a child with dark eyelids, curly hair and lean shanks, he must be the offspring of Sharik b. Sahma. He said: I was informed that she gave birth to a child having dark eyelids, curly hair and lean shanks

محمد سے روایت ہے میں نے انس بن مالک سے پوچھا یہ سمجھ کر کہ ان کو معلوم ہے ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہلال بن امیہ نے نسبت کی زنا کی اپنی بیوی کو شریک بن سحماء سے اور ہلالؓ بن امیہ براء بن مالکؓ کا مادری بھائی تھا ۔ اور اس نے سب سے پہلے لعان کیا اسلام میں ۔ راوی نے کہا پھر دونوں میاں بیوی نے لعان کیا تو رسول اﷲ ﷺ نے فرمایا اس عورت کو دیکھتے رہو اگر اس کا بچہ سفید رنگ کا ، سیدھے بال والا ، لال آنکھوں والا پیدا ہو تو وہ ہلال بن امیہؓ کا ہے اور جو سرمئی آنکھوں والا ، گھونگریالے بالوں والا ، پتلی پنڈلیوں والا پیدا ہو تو وہ شریک بن سحماء کا ہے ۔ انسؓ نے کہا مجھ کو خبر پہنچی کہ اس عورت کا لڑکا سرمگیں آنکھ ، گھونگریالے بال اور پتلی پنڈلیوں والا پیدا ہوا ۔
