Hadith 7418 — Livre 97: Oneness, Uniqueness of Allah (Tawheed)
كتاب التوحيد
Rapporté par `Imran ibn Hussain : Alors que j’étais avec le Prophète (ﷺ), des gens de Bani Tamim sont venus vers lui. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Ô Bani Tamim ! Acceptez la bonne nouvelle ! » Ils ont dit : « Tu nous as donné la bonne nouvelle, maintenant donne-nous (quelque chose). » (Un peu plus tard) des Yéménites sont arrivés, et il leur a dit : « Ô gens du Yémen ! Acceptez la bonne nouvelle, car Bani Tamim l’a refusée. » Ils ont dit : « Nous l’acceptons, car nous sommes venus vers toi pour apprendre la religion. Nous te demandons donc comment tout a commencé. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Il y avait Allah et rien d’autre avant Lui, et Son Trône était sur l’eau. Ensuite Il a créé les cieux et la terre et a tout écrit dans le Livre. » Puis un homme est venu me dire : « Ô `Imran ! Va chercher ta chamelle, elle s’est échappée ! » Je suis donc parti à sa recherche, et elle était déjà loin, au-delà du mirage ! Par Allah, j’aurais préféré qu’elle soit partie plutôt que d’avoir quitté cette assemblée

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ إِنِّي عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذْ جَاءَهُ قَوْمٌ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ فَقَالَ " اقْبَلُوا الْبُشْرَى يَا بَنِي تَمِيمٍ ". قَالُوا بَشَّرْتَنَا فَأَعْطِنَا. فَدَخَلَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ " اقْبَلُوا الْبُشْرَى يَا أَهْلَ الْيَمَنِ إِذْ لَمْ يَقْبَلْهَا بَنُو تَمِيمٍ ". قَالُوا قَبِلْنَا. جِئْنَاكَ لِنَتَفَقَّهَ فِي الدِّينِ وَلِنَسْأَلَكَ عَنْ أَوَّلِ هَذَا الأَمْرِ مَا كَانَ. قَالَ " كَانَ اللَّهُ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ شَىْءٌ قَبْلَهُ، وَكَانَ عَرْشُهُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ، ثُمَّ خَلَقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ، وَكَتَبَ فِي الذِّكْرِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ ". ثُمَّ أَتَانِي رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا عِمْرَانُ أَدْرِكْ نَاقَتَكَ فَقَدْ ذَهَبَتْ فَانْطَلَقْتُ أَطْلُبُهَا، فَإِذَا السَّرَابُ يَنْقَطِعُ دُونَهَا، وَايْمُ اللَّهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّهَا قَدْ ذَهَبَتْ وَلَمْ أَقُمْ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Imran bin Hussain:While I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) , some people from Bani Tamim came to him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Bani Tamim! Accept the good news!" They said, "You have given us the good news; now give us (something)." (After a while) some Yemenites entered, and he said to them, "O the people of Yemen! Accept the good news, as Bani Tamim have refused it. " They said, "We accept it, for we have come to you to learn the Religion. So we ask you what the beginning of this universe was." The Prophet (ﷺ) said "There was Allah and nothing else before Him and His Throne was over the water, and He then created the Heavens and the Earth and wrote everything in the Book." Then a man came to me and said, 'O `Imran! Follow your she-camel for it has run away!" So I set out seeking it, and behold, it was beyond the mirage! By Allah, I wished that it (my she-camel) had gone but that I had not left (the gathering)

ہم سے عبدان نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوحمزہ نے، ان سے اعمش نے، ان سے جامع بن شداد نے، ان سے صفوان بن محرز نے اور ان سے عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس تھا کہ آپ کے پاس بنو تمیم کے کچھ لوگ آئے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اے بنو تمیم! بشارت قبول کرو۔ انہوں نے اس پر کہا کہ آپ نے ہمیں بشارت دے دی، اب ہمیں بخشش بھی دیجئیے۔ پھر آپ کے پاس یمن کے کچھ لوگ پہنچے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اے اہل یمن! بنو تمیم نے بشارت نہیں قبول کی تم اسے قبول کرو۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے قبول کر لی۔ ہم آپ کے پاس اس لیے حاضر ہوئے ہیں تاکہ دین کی سمجھ حاصل کریں اور تاکہ آپ سے اس دنیا کی ابتداء کے متعلق پوچھیں کہ کس طرح تھی؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اللہ تھا اور کوئی چیز نہیں تھی اور اللہ کا عرش پانی پر تھا۔ پھر اس نے آسمان و زمین پیدا کئے اور لوح محفوظ میں ہر چیز لکھ دی ( عمران بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ) مجھے ایک شخص نے آ کر خبر دی کہ عمران اپنی اونٹنی کی خبر لو وہ بھاگ گئی ہے۔ چنانچہ میں اس کی تلاش میں نکلا۔ میں نے دیکھا کہ میرے اور اس کے درمیان ریت کا چٹیل میدان حائل ہے اور اللہ کی قسم میری تمنا تھی کہ وہ چلی ہی گئی ہوتی اور میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مجلس میں سے نہ اٹھا ہوتا۔
