كتاب مواقيت الصلاة
Rapporté par Anas : Zaid bin Thabit a dit : « Nous avons pris le “Suhur” (le repas avant l’aube pendant le jeûne) avec le Prophète (ﷺ), puis nous nous sommes levés pour la prière du matin. » Je lui ai demandé combien de temps il y avait entre les deux. Il a répondu : « Juste le temps de réciter cinquante versets. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُمْ، تَسَحَّرُوا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ قَامُوا إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ. قُلْتُ كَمْ بَيْنَهُمَا قَالَ قَدْرُ خَمْسِينَ أَوْ سِتِّينَ ـ يَعْنِي آيَةً ـ ح.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas:Zaid bin Thabit said, "We took the "Suhur" (the meal taken before dawn while fasting is observed) with the Prophet (ﷺ) and then stood up for the (morning) prayer." I asked him how long the interval between the two (Suhur and prayer) was. He replied, 'The interval between the two was just sufficient to recite fifty to sixty 'Ayat

ہم سے عمرو بن عاصم نے یہ حدیث بیان کی، کہا ہم سے ہمام نے یہ حدیث بیان کی قتادہ سے، انہوں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ یزید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان سے بیان کیا کہ ان لوگوں نے ( ایک مرتبہ ) نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ سحری کھائی، پھر نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہو گئے۔ میں نے دریافت کیا کہ ان دونوں کے درمیان کس قدر فاصلہ رہا ہو گا۔ فرمایا کہ جتنا پچاس یا ساٹھ آیت پڑھنے میں صرف ہوتا ہے اتنا فاصلہ تھا۔
