Rapporté par `Abdullah bin `Umar : À l’époque du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), ceux qui achetaient des denrées alimentaires sans les peser ni les mesurer et les revendaient sur place étaient frappés, jusqu’à ce qu’ils transportent ces marchandises chez eux

حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُضْرَبُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا اشْتَرَوْا طَعَامًا جِزَافًا أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ فِي مَكَانِهِمْ حَتَّى يُئْوُوهُ إِلَى رِحَالِهِمْ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:Those people who used to buy foodstuff at random (without weighing or measuring it) were beaten in the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) if they sold it at the very place where they had bought it, till they carried it to their dwelling places

مجھ سے عیاش بن الولید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالاعلیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے معمر نے بیان کیا، ان سے زہری نے، ان سے سالم نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں اس پر مار پڑتی کہ جب غلہ کے ڈھیر یوں ہی خریدیں، بن ناپے اور تولے اس کو اسی جگہ دوسرے کے ہاتھ بیچ ڈالیں ہاں وہ غلہ اٹھا کر اپنے ٹھکانے لے جائیں پھر بیچیں تو کچھ سزا نہ ہوتی۔
