Hadith 6720 — Livre 84: Expiation for Unfulfilled Oaths
كتاب كفارات الأيمان
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : (Le Prophète) Salomon a dit : « Cette nuit, je passerai auprès de mes quatre-vingt-dix épouses, et chacune d’elles aura un fils qui combattra pour la cause d’Allah. » Son compagnon (Sufyan a précisé que ce compagnon était un ange) lui a dit : « Dis : “Si Allah le veut.” » Mais Salomon a oublié de le dire. Il est allé auprès de toutes ses épouses, mais aucune d’elles n’a eu d’enfant, sauf une qui a donné naissance à un enfant incomplet. Abu Huraira a ajouté : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Si Salomon avait dit : “Si Allah le veut”, il n’aurait pas échoué dans son action et il aurait obtenu ce qu’il désirait. » Une fois, Abu Huraira a ajouté : Le Messager d’Allah a dit : « S’il avait accepté… »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حُجَيْرٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ لأَطُوفَنَّ اللَّيْلَةَ عَلَى تِسْعِينَ امْرَأَةً، كُلٌّ تَلِدُ غُلاَمًا يُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ. فَقَالَ لَهُ صَاحِبُهُ ـ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ يَعْنِي الْمَلَكَ ـ قُلْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ. فَنَسِيَ، فَطَافَ بِهِنَّ، فَلَمْ تَأْتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ بِوَلَدٍ، إِلاَّ وَاحِدَةٌ بِشِقِّ غُلاَمٍ. فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَرْوِيهِ قَالَ " لَوْ قَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ، لَمْ يَحْنَثْ وَكَانَ دَرَكًا فِي حَاجَتِهِ ". وَقَالَ مَرَّةً قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوِ اسْتَثْنَى ". وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:(The Prophet) Solomon said, "Tonight I will sleep with (my) ninety wives, each of whom will get a male child who will fight for Allah's Cause." On that, his companion (Sufyan said that his companion was an angel) said to him, "Say, "If Allah will (Allah willing)." But Solomon forgot (to say it). He slept with all his wives, but none of the women gave birth to a child, except one who gave birth to a halfboy. Abu Huraira added: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If Solomon had said, "If Allah will" (Allah willing), he would not have been unsuccessful in his action, and would have attained what he had desired." ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ہشام بن حجیر نے، ان سے طاؤس نے، انہوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ سلیمان علیہ السلام نے کہا تھا کہ آج رات میں اپنی نوے بیویوں کے پاس جاؤں گا اور ہر بیوی ایک بچہ جنے گی جو اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کریں گے۔ ان کے ساتھی سفیان یعنی فرشتے نے ان سے کہا۔ اجی ان شاءاللہ تو کہو لیکن آپ بھول گئے اور پھر تمام بیویوں کے پاس گئے لیکن ایک بیوی کے سوا جس کے یہاں ناتمام بچہ ہوا تھا کسی بیوی کے یہاں بھی بچہ نہیں ہوا۔ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہوئے کہتے تھے کہ اگر انہوں نے ان شاءاللہ کہہ دیا ہوتا تو ان کی قسم بےکار نہ جاتی اور اپنی ضرورت کو پا لیتے اور ایک مرتبہ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہا کہ اگر انہوں نے استثناء کر دیا ہوتا۔ اور ہم سے ابوالزناد نے اعرج سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی حدیث کی طرح بیان کیا۔
