كتاب الأيمان والنذور
Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a rencontré `Umar bin Al-Khattab alors que ce dernier était avec un groupe de personnes à dos de chameau, et il jurait par son père. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Attention ! Allah vous interdit de jurer par vos pères. Donc, si quelqu'un doit faire un serment, qu'il le fasse par Allah ou qu'il se taise. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَدْرَكَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَهْوَ يَسِيرُ فِي رَكْبٍ يَحْلِفُ بِأَبِيهِ فَقَالَ " أَلاَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ، مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ، أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) met `Umar bin Al-Khattab while the latter was going with a group of camel-riders, and he was swearing by his father. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Lo! Allah forbids you to swear by your fathers, so whoever has to take an oath, he should swear by Allah or keep quiet
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے مالک نے، ان سے نافع نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئے تو وہ سواروں کی ایک جماعت کے ساتھ چل رہے تھے اور اپنے باپ کی قسم کھا رہے تھے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ خبردار تحقیق اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہیں باپ دادوں کی قسم کھانے سے منع کیا ہے، جسے قسم کھانی ہے اسے ( بشرط صدق ) چاہئے کہ اللہ ہی کی قسم کھائے ورنہ چپ رہے۔
