Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a mentionné les plus grands péchés, ou on lui a demandé quels étaient les plus grands péchés. Il a dit : « Associer quelqu’un à Allah dans l’adoration ; tuer une âme qu’Allah a interdite de tuer ; et manquer de respect ou de bonté envers ses parents. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a ajouté : « Voulez-vous que je vous informe du plus grave des grands péchés ? C’est le faux témoignage ou le mensonge. » Shu`ba (le sous-narrateur) précise que, selon lui, le Prophète a surtout dit : « le faux témoignage »

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْكَبَائِرَ، أَوْ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْكَبَائِرِ فَقَالَ " الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ، وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ، وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ ". فَقَالَ " أَلاَ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِأَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ ـ قَالَ ـ قَوْلُ الزُّورِ ـ أَوْ قَالَ ـ شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ ". قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَأَكْثَرُ ظَنِّي أَنَّهُ قَالَ " شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas bin Malik:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned the greatest sins or he was asked about the greatest sins. He said, "To join partners in worship with Allah; to kill a soul which Allah has forbidden to kill; and to be undutiful or unkind to one's parents." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "Shall I inform you of the biggest of the great sins? That is the forged statement or the false witness." Shu`ba (the sub-narrator) states that most probably the Prophet said, "the false witness

مجھ سے محمد بن ولید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے محمد بن جعفر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے عبیداللہ بن ابی بکر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کبائر کا ذکر کیا یا ( انہوں نے کہا کہ ) نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کبائر کے متعلق پوچھا گیا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرنا، کسی کی ( ناحق ) جان لینا، والدین کی نافرمانی کرنا پھر فرمایا کیا میں تمہیں سب سے بڑا گناہ نہ بتا دوں؟ فرمایا کہ جھوٹی بات یا فرمایا کہ جھوٹی شہادت ( سب سے بڑا گناہ ہے ) شعبہ نے بیان کیا کہ میرا غالب گمان یہ ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جھوٹی گواہی فرمایا تھا۔
