كتاب اللباس
Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est fait faire une bague en argent et il la portait à la main. Ensuite, elle a été portée par Abu Bakr, puis par `Umar, puis par `Uthman jusqu’à ce qu’elle tombe dans le puits d’Aris. Sur cette bague, il était gravé : « Muhammad, le Messager d’Allah »

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ، وَكَانَ فِي يَدِهِ، ثُمَّ كَانَ بَعْدُ فِي يَدِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثُمَّ كَانَ بَعْدُ فِي يَدِ عُمَرَ، ثُمَّ كَانَ بَعْدُ فِي يَدِ عُثْمَانَ، حَتَّى وَقَعَ بَعْدُ فِي بِئْرِ أَرِيسَ، نَقْشُهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had a silver ring made for himself and it was worn by him on his hand. Afterwards it was worn by Abu Bakr, and then by `Umar, and then by `Uthman till it fell in the Aris well. (On that ring) was engraved: 'Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah

ہم سے محمد بن سلام بیکندی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عبداللہ بن نمیر نے خبر دی، انہیں عبیداللہ عمری نے، انہیں نافع نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چاندی کی ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی۔ وہ انگوٹھی آپ کے ہاتھ میں، اس کے بعد عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاتھ میں، اس کے بعد عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاتھ میں رہتی تھی لیکن ان کے زمانہ میں وہ اریس کے کنویں میں گر گئی اس کا نقش «محمد رسول الله» تھا۔
