Hadith 5272 — Livre 68: Divorce
كتاب الطلاق
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Un homme de Bani Aslam est venu voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) alors qu’il était dans la mosquée et l’a appelé en disant : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! J’ai commis un acte sexuel interdit. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a alors détourné son visage de lui, mais l’homme s’est déplacé du côté vers lequel le Prophète (ﷺ) avait tourné son visage et a répété : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! J’ai commis un acte sexuel interdit. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a de nouveau détourné son visage, et l’homme s’est encore déplacé du côté vers lequel le Prophète (ﷺ) avait tourné son visage, répétant la même chose. Cela s’est produit quatre fois. Après que l’homme ait témoigné contre lui-même à quatre reprises, le Prophète (ﷺ) l’a appelé et lui a demandé : « Es-tu fou ? » Il a répondu : « Non. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a alors dit à ses compagnons : « Allez, lapidez-le jusqu’à la mort. » Cet homme était marié. Jabir bin `Abdullah Al-Ansari a dit : « J’étais parmi ceux qui l’ont lapidé. Nous l’avons lapidé à la place de prière de l’Aïd à Médine. Quand les pierres l’ont touché, il a tenté de s’enfuir, mais nous l’avons rattrapé à Al-Harra et nous l’avons lapidé jusqu’à ce qu’il meure. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أَتَى رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهْوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَنَادَاهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الأَخِرَ قَدْ زَنَى ـ يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ ـ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَتَنَحَّى لِشِقِّ وَجْهِهِ الَّذِي أَعْرَضَ قِبَلَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الأَخِرَ قَدْ زَنَى فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَتَنَحَّى لِشِقِّ وَجْهِهِ الَّذِي أَعْرَضَ قِبَلَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَتَنَحَّى لَهُ الرَّابِعَةَ، فَلَمَّا شَهِدَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ دَعَاهُ فَقَالَ " هَلْ بِكَ جُنُونٌ ". قَالَ لاَ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اذْهَبُوا بِهِ فَارْجُمُوهُ ". وَكَانَ قَدْ أُحْصِنَ. وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ، سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيَّ، قَالَ كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ رَجَمَهُ فَرَجَمْنَاهُ بِالْمُصَلَّى بِالْمَدِينَةِ، فَلَمَّا أَذْلَقَتْهُ الْحِجَارَةُ جَمَزَ حَتَّى أَدْرَكْنَاهُ بِالْحَرَّةِ، فَرَجَمْنَاهُ حَتَّى مَاتَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:A man from Bani Aslam came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) while he was in the mosque and called (the Prophet (ﷺ) ) saying, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I have committed illegal sexual intercourse." On that the Prophet (ﷺ) turned his face from him to the other side, whereupon the man moved to the side towards which the Prophet (ﷺ) had turned his face, and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I have committed illegal sexual intercourse." The Prophet turned his face (from him) to the other side whereupon the man moved to the side towards which the Prophet (ﷺ) had turned his face, and repeated his statement. The Prophet (ﷺ) turned his face (from him) to the other side again. The man moved again (and repeated his statement) for the fourth time. So when the man had given witness four times against himself, the Prophet (ﷺ) called him and said, "Are you insane?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (ﷺ) then said (to his companions), "Go and stone him to death." The man was a married one. Jabir bin `Abdullah Al-Ansari said: I was one of those who stoned him. We stoned him at the Musalla (`Id praying place) in Medina. When the stones hit him with their sharp edges, he fled, but we caught him at Al-Harra and stoned him till he died
