Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Du vivant du Prophète (ﷺ), nous évitions de discuter librement et longuement avec nos femmes, de peur qu'une révélation divine ne soit envoyée à notre sujet. Mais après la mort du Prophète (ﷺ), nous avons commencé à discuter librement et sans gêne avec elles

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَّقِي الْكَلاَمَ وَالاِنْبِسَاطَ إِلَى نِسَائِنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم هَيْبَةَ أَنْ يُنْزَلَ فِينَا شَىْءٌ فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَكَلَّمْنَا وَانْبَسَطْنَا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:During the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) we used to avoid chatting leisurely and freely with our wives lest some Divine inspiration might be revealed concerning us. But when the Prophet (ﷺ) had died, we started chatting leisurely and freely (with them)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان ثوری نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن دینار نے اور ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے وقت میں ہم اپنی بیویوں کے ساتھ گفتگو اور بہت زیادہ بےتکلفی سے اس ڈر کی وجہ سے پرہیز کرتے تھے کہ کہیں کوئی بےاعتدالی ہو جائے اور ہماری برائی میں کوئی حکم نازل نہ ہو جائے۔ پھر جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات ہو گئی تو ہم نے ان سے خوب کھل کے گفتگو کی اور خوب بےتکلفی کرنے لگے۔
