كتاب النكاح
Rapporté par Thabit : On a parlé du mariage de Zainab bint Jahash en présence d’Anas, et il a dit : « Je n’ai jamais vu le Prophète (ﷺ) offrir un meilleur banquet pour le mariage d’une de ses épouses que celui qu’il a donné pour Zainab. Il a alors organisé un banquet avec un seul mouton. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ ذُكِرَ تَزْوِيجُ زَيْنَبَ ابْنَةِ جَحْشٍ عِنْدَ أَنَسٍ فَقَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَوْلَمَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ مَا أَوْلَمَ عَلَيْهَا أَوْلَمَ بِشَاةٍ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Thabit:The marriage of Zainab bint Jahash was mentioned in the presence of Anas and he said, "I did not see the Prophet (ﷺ) giving a better banquet on marrying any of his wives than the one he gave on marrying Zainab. He then gave a banquet with one sheep

ہم سے مسدد بن مسرہد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حماد بن زید نے، ان سے ثابت بنانی نے، کہ انس رضی اللہ عنہ کے سامنے زینب بنت جحش رضی اللہ عنہا کے نکاح کا ذکر کیا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ان کے جیسا اپنی بیویوں میں سے کسی کے لیے ولیمہ کرتے نہیں دیکھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کا ولیمہ ایک بکری سے کیا تھا۔
