كتاب تفسير النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par Safwân ibn Muhriz : Alors qu’Ibn ‘Umar faisait le tawâf, un homme s’approcha de lui et dit : « Ô Abû ‘Abd ar-Rahmân ! » ou : « Ô Ibn ‘Umar ! As-tu entendu le Prophète ﷺ parler de la conversation confidentielle (an-najwâ) ? » Il répondit : « J’ai entendu le Prophète ﷺ dire : “Le croyant sera rapproché de son Seigneur — Hishâm rapporte : le croyant s’approchera — jusqu’à ce qu’Il le couvre de Sa protection, puis Il lui fera reconnaître ses péchés : ‘Reconnais-tu tel péché ?’ Il dira : ‘Je reconnais, ô Seigneur, je reconnais’ — deux fois. Alors Il dira : ‘Je les ai cachés pour toi dans le bas-monde, et aujourd’hui Je te les pardonne.’ Puis le registre de ses bonnes actions sera refermé. Quant aux autres, ou aux mécréants, il sera proclamé devant les témoins : ‘Ce sont ceux qui ont menti contre leur Seigneur.’ »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، وَهِشَامٌ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ، قَالَ بَيْنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَطُوفُ إِذْ عَرَضَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ـ أَوْ قَالَ يَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي النَّجْوَى فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " يُدْنَى الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ـ وَقَالَ هِشَامٌ يَدْنُو الْمُؤْمِنُ ـ حَتَّى يَضَعَ عَلَيْهِ كَنَفَهُ، فَيُقَرِّرُهُ بِذُنُوبِهِ تَعْرِفُ ذَنْبَ كَذَا يَقُولُ أَعْرِفُ، يَقُولُ رَبِّ أَعْرِفُ مَرَّتَيْنِ، فَيَقُولُ سَتَرْتُهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأَغْفِرُهَا لَكَ الْيَوْمَ ثُمَّ تُطْوَى صَحِيفَةُ حَسَنَاتِهِ، وَأَمَّا الآخَرُونَ أَوِ الْكُفَّارُ فَيُنَادَى عَلَى رُءُوسِ الأَشْهَادِ هَؤُلاَءِ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ ". وَقَالَ شَيْبَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Safwan bin Muhriz:While Ibn `Umar was performing the Tawaf (around the Ka`ba), a man came up to him and said, "O Abu `AbdurRahman!" or said, "O Ibn `Umar! Did you hear anything from the Prophet (ﷺ) about An-Najwa?" Ibn `Umar said, "I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, 'The Believer will be brought near his Lord." (Hisham, a sub-narrator said, reporting the Prophet's words), "The believer will come near (his Lord) till his Lord covers him with His screen and makes him confess his sins. (Allah will ask him), 'Do you know (that you did) 'such-and-such sin?" He will say twice, 'Yes, I do.' Then Allah will say, 'I concealed it in the world and I forgive it for you today.' Then the record of his good deeds will be folded up. As for the others, or the disbelievers, it will be announced publicly before the witnesses: 'These are ones who lied against their Lord

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یزید بن زریع نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سعید بن ابی عروبہ اور ہشام بن ابی عبداللہ دستوائی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے قتادہ نے بیان کیا اور ان سے صفوان بن محرز نے کہ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما طواف کر رہے تھے کہ ایک شخص نام نامعلوم آپ کے سامنے آیا اور پوچھا: اے ابوعبدالرحمٰن! یا یہ کہا کہ اے ابن عمر! کیا آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سرگوشی کے متعلق کچھ سنا ہے ( جو اللہ تعالیٰ مؤمنین سے قیامت کے دن کرے گا ) ۔ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرما رہے تھے کہ مومن اپنے رب کے قریب لایا جائے گا۔ اور ہشام نے «يدنو المؤمن» ( بجائے «يدنى المؤمن» کہا ) مطلب ایک ہی ہے۔ یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنا ایک جانب اس پر رکھے گا اور اس کے گناہوں کا اقرار کرائے گا کہ فلاں گناہ تجھے یاد ہے؟ بندہ عرض کرے گا، یاد ہے، میرے رب! مجھے یاد ہے، دو مرتبہ اقرار کرے گا۔ پھر اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا کہ میں نے دنیا میں تمہارے گناہوں کو چھپائے رکھا اور آج بھی تمہاری مغفرت کروں گا۔ پھر اس کی نیکیوں کا دفتر لپیٹ دیا جائے گا۔ لیکن دوسرے لوگ یا ( یہ کہا کہ ) کفار تو ان کے متعلق محشر میں اعلان کیا جائے گا کہ یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھا تھا۔ اور شیبان نے بیان کیا، ان سے قتادہ نے کہ ہم سے صفوان نے بیان کیا۔
