Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Pendant que des gens faisaient la prière du Fajr dans la mosquée de Quba', quelqu’un est venu et a dit : « Allah a révélé au Prophète (ﷺ) des instructions dans le Coran selon lesquelles vous devez vous tourner vers la Ka`ba (en priant), alors faites-le aussi. » Ces gens se sont alors tournés vers la Ka`ba

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ بَيْنَا النَّاسُ يُصَلُّونَ الصُّبْحَ فِي مَسْجِدِ قُبَاءٍ إِذْ جَاءَ جَاءٍ فَقَالَ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قُرْآنًا أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الْكَعْبَةَ فَاسْتَقْبِلُوهَا. فَتَوَجَّهُوا إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:While some people were offering Fajr prayer in the Quba' mosque, some-one came and said, "Allah has revealed to the Prophet (ﷺ) Qur'anic instructions that you should face the Ka`ba (while praying) so you too, should face it." Those people then turned towards the Ka`ba

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، ان سے سفیان نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن دینار نے اور ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ لوگ مسجد قباء میں صبح کی نماز پڑھ ہی رہے تھے کہ ایک صاحب آئے اور انہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر قرآن نازل کیا ہے کہ آپ نماز میں کعبہ کی طرف منہ کریں، لہٰذا آپ لوگ بھی کعبہ کی طرف رخ کر لیں۔ سب نمازی اسی وقت کعبہ کی طرف پھر گئے۔
