Rapporté par Abu Jamra : J’ai demandé à Aidh bin `Amr, qui était l’un des compagnons du Prophète (ﷺ) et faisait partie de ceux qui ont prêté allégeance au Prophète (ﷺ) sous l’Arbre : « Peut-on refaire la prière du witr dans la même nuit ? » Il a répondu : « Si tu l’as déjà faite en début de nuit, tu ne dois pas la refaire en fin de nuit. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَاذَانُ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِذَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ـ رضى الله عنه ـ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الشَّجَرَةِ هَلْ يُنْقَضُ الْوِتْرُ قَالَ إِذَا أَوْتَرْتَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ، فَلاَ تُوتِرْ مِنْ آخِرِهِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Jamra:I asked Aidh bin `Amr, who was one of the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) one of those (who gave the allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ) under the Tree): "Can the witr prayer be repeated (in one night)?" He said, "If you have offered it in the first part of the night, you should not repeat it in the last part of the night." (See Fath-ul-Bari page 458 Vol 8th)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمد بن حاتم بن زریع نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے شاذان (اسود بن عامر) نے ‘ ان سے شعبہ نے ‘ ان سے ابوحمزہ نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے عائذ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صحابی تھے اور بیعت رضوان میں شریک تھے کہ کیا وتر کی نماز ( ایک رکعت اور پڑھ کر ) توڑی جا سکتی ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر شروع رات میں تو نے وتر پڑھ لیا ہو تو آخر رات میں نہ پڑھو۔
