Hadith 3883 — Livre 63: Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar)
كتاب مناقب الأنصار
Rapporté par Al-Abbas bin `Abdul Muttalib : Il a dit au Prophète (ﷺ) : « Tu n’as pas pu être utile à ton oncle (Abu Talib), alors que, par Allah, il te protégeait et se mettait en colère pour toi. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Il est dans un feu peu profond, et si ce n’était pas grâce à moi, il serait au fond du Feu (de l’Enfer). »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا أَغْنَيْتَ عَنْ عَمِّكَ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَحُوطُكَ وَيَغْضَبُ لَكَ. قَالَ " هُوَ فِي ضَحْضَاحٍ مِنْ نَارٍ، وَلَوْلاَ أَنَا لَكَانَ فِي الدَّرَكِ الأَسْفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Al-Abbas bin `Abdul Muttalib:That he said to the Prophet (ﷺ) "You have not been of any avail to your uncle (Abu Talib) (though) by Allah, he used to protect you and used to become angry on your behalf." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He is in a shallow fire, and had It not been for me, he would have been in the bottom of the (Hell) Fire
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید قطان نے، ان سے سفیان ثوری نے، کہا ہم سے عبدالملک بن عمیر نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن حارث نے بیان کیا ان سے عباس بن عبدالمطلب رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا آپ اپنے چچا ( ابوطالب ) کے کیا کام آئے کہ وہ آپ کی حمایت کیا کرتے تھے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے غصہ ہوتے تھے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” ( اسی وجہ سے ) وہ صرف ٹخنوں تک جہنم میں ہیں اگر میں ان کی سفارش نہ کرتا تو وہ دوزخ کی تہ میں بالکل نیچے ہوتے۔“
