Rapporté par `Abdur-Rahman : J’ai demandé à Masruq : « Qui a informé le Prophète (ﷺ) au sujet des djinns la nuit où ils ont entendu le Coran ? » Il a répondu : « Ton père `Abdullah m’a dit qu’un arbre a informé le Prophète (ﷺ) à leur sujet. »

حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي قَالَ، سَأَلْتُ مَسْرُوقًا مَنْ آذَنَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالْجِنِّ لَيْلَةَ اسْتَمَعُوا الْقُرْآنَ. فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُوكَ ـ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ـ أَنَّهُ آذَنَتْ بِهِمْ شَجَرَةٌ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdur-Rahman:"I asked Masruq, 'Who informed the Prophet (ﷺ) about the Jinns at the night when they heard the Qur'an?' He said, 'Your father `Abdullah informed me that a tree informed the Prophet (ﷺ) about them
Traduction en ourdou
مجھ سے عبیداللہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابواسامہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے مسعر نے بیان کیا، ان سے معن بن عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے اپنے والد سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے مسروق سے پوچھا کہ جس رات میں جنوں نے قرآن مجید سنا تھا اس کی خبر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کس نے دی تھی؟ مسروق نے کہا کہ مجھ سے تمہارے والد عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو جنوں کی خبر ایک ببول کے درخت نے دی تھی۔
