Hadith 3836 — Livre 63: Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar)
كتاب مناقب الأنصار
Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Si quelqu’un doit prêter serment, qu’il ne jure que par Allah. » Les gens de Quraish avaient l’habitude de jurer par leurs pères, mais le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Ne jurez pas par vos pères. »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَلاَ مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلاَ يَحْلِفْ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ ". فَكَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ تَحْلِفُ بِآبَائِهَا، فَقَالَ " لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If anybody has to take an oath, he should swear only by Allah." The people of Quraish used to swear by their fathers, but the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not swear by your fathers

ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اسماعیل بن جعفر نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن دینار نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”ہاں! اگر کسی کو قسم کھانی ہی ہو تو اللہ کے سوا اور کسی کی قسم نہ کھائے۔“
