كتاب مناقب النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par `Abdullah bin Masud : Du vivant du Prophète (ﷺ), la lune s’est fendue en deux, et à ce moment-là, le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Soyez témoins (de cela). »

حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شِقَّتَيْنِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اشْهَدُوا ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin Masud:During the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) the moon was split into two parts and on that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Bear witness (to this)

ہم سے صدقہ بن فضل نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو سفیان بن عیینہ نے خبر دی، انہیں ابن ابی نجیح نے، انہیں مجاہد نے، انہیں ابومعمر نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں چاند کے پھٹ کر دو ٹکڑے ہو گئے تھے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا کہ لوگو اس پر گواہ رہنا۔
