Hadith 3130 — Livre 57: One-fifth of Booty to the Cause of Allah (Khumus)

Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : `Uthman n'a pas participé à la bataille de Badr parce qu'il était marié à l'une des filles du Messager d'Allah et qu'elle était malade. Alors, le Prophète ﷺ lui a dit : « Tu auras une récompense et une part (du butin de guerre) équivalentes à celles de celui qui a participé à la bataille de Badr. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ إِنَّمَا تَغَيَّبَ عُثْمَانُ عَنْ بَدْرٍ، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَتْ تَحْتَهُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَكَانَتْ مَرِيضَةً. فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ لَكَ أَجْرَ رَجُلٍ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَسَهْمَهُ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:`Uthman did not join the Badr battle because he was married to one of the daughters of Allah's Apostle and she was ill. So, the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him. "You will get a reward and a share (from the war booty) similar to the reward and the share of one who has taken part in the Badr battle
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسمعٰیل نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے عثمان بن موہب رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا ‘ اور ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ بدر کی لڑائی میں شریک نہ ہو سکے تھے۔ ان کے نکاح میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ایک صاحبزادی تھیں اور وہ بیمار تھیں۔ ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تمہیں بھی اتنا ہی ثواب ملے گا جتنا بدر میں شریک ہونے والے کسی شخص کو ‘ اور اتنا ہی حصہ بھی ملے گا۔
