Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Du vivant du Prophète, Abu Talha ne jeûnait pas à cause du jihad, mais après la mort du Prophète (ﷺ), je ne l’ai jamais vu sans jeûner, sauf pendant l’Aïd al-Fitr et l’Aïd al-Adha

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ لاَ يَصُومُ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ أَجْلِ الْغَزْوِ، فَلَمَّا قُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمْ أَرَهُ مُفْطِرًا، إِلاَّ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحَى.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas bin Malik:In the life-time of the Prophet, Abu Talha did not fast because of the Jihad, but after the Prophet (ﷺ) died I never saw him without fasting except on `Id-ul-Fitr and `Id-ul-Adha

ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے ثابت بنانی نے ‘ کہا کہ میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ‘ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ ابوطلحہ زید بن سہیل رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں جہاد میں شرکت کے خیال سے ( نفلی روزے نہیں رکھتے تھے لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات کے بعد پھر میں نے انہیں عیدالفطر اور عید الاضحی کے سوا روزے کے بغیر نہیں دیکھا۔)
