Rapporté par Sahl bin Sa`d : On a apporté une boisson (lait mélangé à de l’eau) au Prophète (ﷺ) qui en a bu un peu alors qu’un garçon était assis à sa droite et des personnes âgées à sa gauche. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit au garçon : « Si tu me permets, je donnerai (le reste de la boisson à) ces personnes âgées en premier. » Le garçon a dit : « Je ne donnerai la priorité à personne sur ma part venant de toi, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a alors mis le récipient dans la main du garçon

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ قَزَعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُتِيَ بِشَرَابٍ فَشَرِبَ، وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ غُلاَمٌ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ الأَشْيَاخُ فَقَالَ لِلْغُلاَمِ " إِنْ أَذِنْتَ لِي أَعْطَيْتُ هَؤُلاَءِ ". فَقَالَ مَا كُنْتُ لأُوثِرَ بِنَصِيبِي مِنْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَحَدًا. فَتَلَّهُ فِي يَدِهِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:A drink (milk mixed with water) was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) who drank some of it while a boy was sitting on his right and old men on his left. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to the boy, "If you permit me, I'll give (the rest of the drink to) these old men first." The boy said, "I will not give preference to any one over me as regards my share from you, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" The Prophet (ﷺ) then put that container in the boy's hand. (See Hadith No)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے یحییٰ بن قزعہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے امام مالک نے، وہ ابوحازم سے، وہ سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں پینے کو کچھ لایا، ( دودھ یا پانی ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے نوش فرمایا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دائیں طرف ایک بچہ بیٹھا تھا اور بڑے بوڑھے لوگ بائیں طرف بیٹھے ہوئے تھے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس بچے سے فرمایا کہ اگر تو اجازت دے ( تو بچا ہوا پانی ) میں ان بڑے لوگوں کو دے دوں؟ لیکن اس نے کہا۔ یا رسول اللہ! آپ کے جوٹھے میں سے ملنے والے کسی حصہ کا میں ایثار نہیں کر سکتا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پیالہ جھٹکے کے ساتھ اسی کی طرف بڑھا دیا۔
