Hadith 2598 — Livre 51: Gifts
كتاب الهبة
Rapporté par Jabir : Le Prophète (ﷺ) m’a dit : « Je te donnerai autant (le Prophète (ﷺ) a montré trois fois avec ses mains) quand les fonds de Bahreïn arriveront à moi. » Mais le Prophète (ﷺ) est décédé avant que l’argent n’arrive. (Quand il est arrivé) Abu Bakr a ordonné qu’on annonce que quiconque avait une créance sur le Prophète (ﷺ) ou à qui il avait promis quelque chose devait venir voir Abu Bakr. Je suis allé voir Abu Bakr et je lui ai dit que le Prophète (ﷺ) m’avait promis de me donner autant. Abu Bakr m’a alors donné trois poignées (d’argent)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوْ جَاءَ مَالُ الْبَحْرَيْنِ أَعْطَيْتُكَ هَكَذَا ثَلاَثًا ". فَلَمْ يَقْدَمْ حَتَّى تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَأَمَرَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِدَةٌ أَوْ دَيْنٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا. فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعَدَنِي. فَحَثَى لِي ثَلاَثًا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir:The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "I will give you so much (the Prophet (ﷺ) pointed thrice with his hands) when funds of Bahrain will come to me." But the Prophet (ﷺ) died before the money reached him. (When it came) Abu Bakr ordered an announcer to announce that whoever had a money claim on the Prophet (ﷺ) or was promised to be given something, should come to Abu Bakr. I went to Abu Bakr and told him that the Prophet (ﷺ) had promised to give me so much. On that Abu Bakr gave me three handfuls (of money)

ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے محمد بن المنکدر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا۔ آپ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے وعدہ فرمایا، اگر بحرین کا مال ( جزیہ کا ) آیا تو میں تمہیں اتنا اتنا تین لپ مال دوں گا۔ لیکن بحرین سے مال آنے سے پہلے ہی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وفات فرما گئے اور ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک منادی سے یہ اعلان کرنے کے لیے کہا کہ جس سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا کوئی وعدہ ہو یا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر اس کا کوئی قرض ہو تو وہ ہمارے پاس آئے۔ چنانچہ میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے یہاں گیا اور کہا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے وعدہ کیا تھا۔ تو انہوں نے تین لپ بھر کر مجھے دئیے۔
